I know some of the readers who've been reading me since i just started out noticed the change in me.

I used to be a cheerful little girl who has never walked on the rough roads of life.

I no longer have that innocent, optimistic view of things around me anymore. I seem to have adopted a hard personality, building a wall between me and other people that makes me look so unapproachable and stuck up. I guess it's unavoidable when i've been constantly hurt by the harsh reality of life.

Only when i started this blog, then i realised the realistic side of people. i was so disappointed by how some people get close to you just to leverage on you. I have 'friends' who are always having a motive behind when they ask me out or talk to me. Most of the time, they just want me to promote them in my blog. I feel upset knowing that im just a tool for them to use. Alot of them just throw me away to a corner after they got what they want.

Actually, i wouldn't mind that much if they just come up to me and tell me they want to be famous. What i dislike the most is when people acts like a friend, acts so close to you, just so that they can get what they want. And when someone else that can help them get closer to their target easier comes along, they moved on to the next target and forget all about me, the old tool.


Alright, other than that,

Sometimes i think people just don't understand me...



Just because i blog, just because i write in a particular way, people tend to stereotype me to be a particular kind of person. Sometimes i feel helpless because i feel so misunderstood but yet i can't stop them from thinking that way. What's worse is when best friends think of me that way. I've distanced from many of my previous friends, because well, i dont know. Maybe they think we are in different worlds now since im hanging out more with a different kind of group? Maybe our interests changed and differ from each other now. I thought it would be friendship forever, but i guess life's like that.


Oh well.
I've learnt a new sentence recently, and im gonna keeping reminding it to myself:

If you are everything to everybody,
you are nothing to yourself.

Im always late at blogging about events.

The reason is because there's always loads of photos for me to sort and upload and that's not an enjoyable thing to do especially when the internet connection sucks. That's why i keep dragging and dragging, and till other bloggers put up their posts, i worry about readers not wanting to read my post because it'll be all the same things they see in the other bloggers' blogs.

Before the event, we met up because we dont know how to get to singapore flyer from cityhall mrt. We started camwhoring in the middle of citylink, even before the event started! Sigh, bloggers, sigh.








Took a cab to singapore flyer in the end cos the girls were complaining about high heels and the guys were......... lazy?


RECEPTION:
The reception was super cool.
There was red carpet and photographers just like star awards. Woohoo.









Models were gorgeous and VERY TALL. Trust me, even jessica who is 1.7m looks short beside them. As for me, i guess i look like a dwarf to them. Maybe they could trip over me because given their height, they can only look at things of their height. Thank goodness they didn't.

We got a free ride at the flyer. Me and boyfriend already sat the flyer before so we weren't as excited as the others. But still, it was a different experience because this time it was night time.







I asked boyfriend whether the wide-angle camera that the photographer is using would make middle people thinner or side people thinner. He said side! BLUFF. My face was so stretched in the original picture that i had to use PS's camera distortion correction to make my face look normal. (at the same time, bulging the people in the centre. Wahaha)

Although the capsule was packed with noisy bloggers, me and boyfriend still had a great romantic time. Noticed that i was quiet in the flyer and not really joining you guys with the camwhoring stuff? I wanted to spend the 30 minutes with boyfriend, treasuring all the time we had. The other time at the flyer we had spent most of the time taking pics and looking out of the window. But this time, we sat down and enjoyed each other for almost the whole ride :)

I was super sway yesterday.

I was on the bus, and this 40+ 50+ uncle came to sit beside me. Then he started taking out biscuits to eat. I dont mind people eating on the bus, but guess what happened next?

He took out his water to drink, then i dont know for whatever reason, he splurted everything out like a water fountain. Splashed all over me, the person at the other side of him, and even the windows on my side! So many water~!

Can you imagine how disgusting it is? Biscuits bits, his saliva, and water. Ewwww.


He didn't even say sorry. I think he said to the guy beside him but hey, im nearer to him and it's obvious the water on my side is more leh. He took out a tissue............... and wiped HIMSELF!!

And after that, he continued eating his biscuits!

And drank water again.



Omg, i was praying that he dont splurt everything out again!

Heartpain!



It seems like so long since i last took out my camera to snap snap snap and camwhore. I've been going out for dinners, had yummy crabs that boss' mum cooked for us, ate lots of sweets within 3 days, and spending time with boyfriend.

But all those seem too random to even blog about.


Even when i have the urge to call up some of my bestest friends out for a day shopping and having fun together, i think about my wallet and i gave up the thought. Cashflow problems recently because i've stopped taking pocket money and is now depending solely on my own unstable income.

And this week has been tough, because i spent too much on shopping and cabfares that im left with very little by the end of the week. A $60 pair of super high gold heels, $50 white heels (i regret buying it because it hurts when i walk), the bonia wallet for mum, earrings, taxi fares and other random stuffs that i forgot... Spent so much that boyfriend shook his head when he saw me with so many paperbags after he went away to do some stuffs for merely 30 minutes. hahaha. I even had to sms him " Come faster find me. If not i will shop shop shop and spend finish all the money!"

I have so little self control sometimes :)









Blog post on Scarlet launch event will be up next, followed by oosh's one year anniversary party which was more than a month ago, and more more more~! Just give me time to sort out the pictures :)

I just heard from the radio today about a gross news. Im not sure what exactly happened but apparently two men dissected a 16 year old girl's body and while part of the meat went into the sea, one part of it was added into the market's lump of pork! It might have been fried into those crispy fried-pork-oil we eat in wantonmee, mince meat noodle... etc.

Although it happened in Hongkong, what if the meat was imported to singapore? omg omg omg. The thought of eating human meat is enough to make me puke. Im gonna avoid pork for at least a month. Gosh.

It's just boring repetive topics everyday. Im like interviewing people about stuffs that nobody cares while other people from other courses are doing much more interesting things like photography, skits, etc.

I wish my life could fast forward 2 years forward and then i dont have to attend school anymore! Just thinking about it makes me so excited.

I think i have gotten sleeping disorder!
I feel like sleeping all the time!

When i wake up, the only thing i want to do is sleep the day away. After i finally wake up and finished bathing, i walk past my bed and it would always be tempting to sleep. In the bus, i sleep. In class, i sleep. When i meet with troubles, i want to sleep the days away until the problems go away. I think im now sleeping much more than living lor!

Shit. I hope i dont die sleeping too much. Haha.

I didn't know that even though we have been together for more than 6 months. Haha. I love his height, because when we hug, my face would be lying on his chest and it feels like a pillow. Unlike my previous boyfriends, when i hug them my chin would be resting on their shoulders and it's so uncomfortable.

Went dating with him quite alot recently. i think 3 days in a row? :)

First day was only a meal, but still cherishable anyway. No pictures.

Second day, we went over to QQ Noodle at Bugis to have lunch. He loves that place! The pictures are in my handphone and im kinda lazy to transfer them lei. Let's just skip over this part.

Then, we went to catch the movie "OVER HER DEAD BODY".


The movie was not bad. Not a lousy movie but also not a must-watch movie. Eva is super gorgeous! I love looking at her from the screen. Her looks are so pleasing to the eye. Lake bell wasn't that pretty but her character in the movie can make anyone fall in love with her.

Catch it if you want a lighthearted, sometimes hilarious movie :)

I used to think that the bakedrice from this place is good, but eversince i ate the jalapeno's baked rice, no other bake rice is as good. I miss that restaurant!

Event at Geek Terminal:
(Sabrina says im always slow at blogging about events so this time im gonna be the first! )

It was the launch of the blogger's treat variety show that sabrina is hosting, estee's geekgoddess show, and channel65.

Other than sabrina's show, the rest are sort of gadget-ty kind of shows, so of course, the best place to launch it would be Geek Terminal. Haha.

Watched the previews of each show, and i personally think blogger's treat might be something that bloggers would be interested in. The other two shows, errrr, im not really into those techy stuff so i guess i dont understand the show =x But to those techy people, i guess it's a good one! :)

After that, the much awaited food was served. As usual, Peggy filled her plate with a mountain full of food. The number of onion rings on her plate was unbelievable. Nadnut and me ate like a bird. Hah.

We then talked/gossipped/crapped about everything under the moon. I dont even remember what we chatted about. Haha. We were all having fun though.

Me and nadnut! My eyelashes were bad that day, drooping and covering my eyes. Ugly.

However, the minimum age that day was 21 for ladies, 24 for men. Jayden was wearing that jacket that made him look younger than he actually is! In the end, we tried our luck by still queuing for it. Jayden was asked for his age :( I forgot whether nadnut was asked or not, but i wasn't! Super happy, cos i've not even reached 18. Lol. Many people have mistaken me for being younger than i am in broad daylight, thats why i only go to clubs when im invited and in the guestlist. Haha. Wonder how paiseh-ed i would be if they asked for my ic.

Settled for coffeeclub in the end.

Daddy's Bday afew days ago.

When the clock turned 12am, me and sister walked into the room singing happy birthday carrying this cake. This was the first time we gave him a birthday surprise!

the next day we had dinner at Downtown east's sakura buffet restaurant. We didn't make reservations as everytime we go there it's empty. But that night, it was FULL. we had to wait like 45 minutes outside and i was irritated. Im a impatient girl and i hate waiting.

i was so hungry that when im finally inside, i stacked my first place with alot of food!


But well, food's great.

Must eats are:
- Grilled Dory
- Claypot wings
- Chawanmushi
- Prawns

Usually i would end the meal with loads of lovely cheesecakes but I didn't eat them this time cos i was too full. Finished up with a strawberry icecream.


You know in buffets they would charge you $** for every ***gram you wasted and didn't eat? So me and mummy had a marvelous idea when we find things that we dislike. We disect them by cutting them up and putting them on separate plates. That way ,it doesn't look like we didn't eat the thing! Hohoho.

I think i ate much more worth than the entry fee.
